Hello my beautiful crocheters, today I will show you my fingerless mittens. These mittens were designed by me especially for my sister and now I am absolutely in love with this pattern, I’ve already made 3 pairs.
Me and my sister wear it every day and she loves to wear them when she drives. These mittens are perfect for this season, the pattern is wonderful and definitely you will be noticed just wearing a simple accessory.
My boy approved this pattern from the first second he sow the mitts finished, I hope you will love it like he does.
For this mitts you will need:
50g fingering/sock yarn ( I used cotton);
2,75 mm hook (or what hook size is indicated on the label);
sl st= slip stitch;
sc= single crochet;
dc= double crochet;
3dc cluster= 3 double crochet cluster;
bp dc= back post double crochet;
fp dc= front post double crochet.
For this pattern you have to make multiple of 8 chain plus 1.
Row 1: 2 ch, dc starting with 4rd ch from hook until the end of the row;
Row 2: 2 ch, dc, *2 bp dc, 2 dc*, repeat *-*;
Row 3: 2 ch, *2 fp dc, 2 dc*, repeat*-*;
Row 4 : repeat row 2;
Row 5: repeat row 3;

Row 7: 2 dc, dc in the same stitch with 2 ch; *3 dc cluster in 2 ch of previous row, 2 ch, 3 dc cluster in the same 2 ch of previous row; 1 dc, 2 ch, 1 dc in next 2 ch of previous row*; repeat “*-*”; finish the row with 2dc in the last dc of the previous row;
Row 8: repeat row 6;
Row 9: repeat row 7;
Row 10: repeat row 6;
Row 11: repeat row 7;
Row 12: repeat row 6;
Row 13: repeat row 7;
Row 14: repeat row 6;
Row 15: repeat row 7;
Row 16: repeat row 6.
You can crochet 16 rows, or you can continue until you reach the length you want. The last row (the 17 ht row) you can make it with a single crochet.
Here is the video tutorial for the lace stitch:
Now is time to assemble it:
Fold the rectangular that you just crocheted into half, Sew the edges together, but leave a space for thumb. You can leave it like that or you can crochet a few rows of double crochet for the thumb. In the image below you can see how I did it:
